SPERO GALA UPDATE…
With our first event successfully under the belt for the year, we have continued planning for our fall gala. This year we have decided to make some changes in venue for the event and are looking forward to hosting in BOSTON for the first time. The location itself has yet to be determined; however, we assure everyone that even though we won’t be in Newport this year, we will be sure further the standards we have set in the past. We are very excited for everything yet to come in 2009, as we hope you all are as well. Thank you again for your continuing support, and please keep checking back to the website for updates and information about our beneficiary organization, YES.
SPERO’s FIRST 2009 EVENT WAS FAN-TASTIC
Spero would like to thank everyone who attended our March Madness event at the Greatest Bar on Friday, March 27th. The event, as many others have in the past, went off without a hitch and you all went a long way to helping get 2009 kicked off to a great start. The tournament itself was still in fairly early stages as is the planning for the rest of the year in the world of Spero. This evening went a long way into getting a strong base established for the YES Organization and its constituents. We would also like to thank everyone who donated towards the brackets for their generous contributions. A special congratulation is in order for both of our big winners for the evening. The first winner, who received a $100 gift certificate to the Gaslight Brassiere, was Jon Sahrbeck. For those Boston fans out there, the grand prize of two tickets to a Red Sox game was awarded to Tara Borowski. Thank you again everyone who participated, hopefully everyone enjoyed the games and the night’s festivities.
